- This is important because it helps make sure that people's cryptocurrency transfers are completed correctly.

Karura Network has introduced two sub-programs to enhance KAR's role as a fundamental utility. The first sub-program is KAR Staking, which aims to align stakeholders, participants, and network infrastructures. The target KAR Staking APR is 10%, and the target staking rate is 30% to 50%. The second sub-program is KAR Liquidity Pair, which fosters liquidity within the Karura ecosystem. The first pair is KAR-USDCet, and the target APR is 10% - 16%. The proposal covers the initial two months' incentives, and further incentive adjustments will be proposed in the following weeks. The proposal includes transferring 883,332 KAR from Karura Treasury to incentives reward vault account, setting KAR staking incentive reward rate, starting bootstrap KAR/USDCet pair on Karura Swap, and enabling claim loyalty bonus for KAR/USDCet.

- Karura has a system to protect against losses when selling collaterals to repay aUSD debt.
- They have collected 18,686 KSM collaterals in their CDP treasury and want to sell them to repay aUSD debt.
- They plan to use DEX to sell the KSM collaterals to maximize the amount of aUSD recouped.
- They will delegate the KSM to a proxy account and use a trading bot to execute small trades and avoid slippage.
- The aUSD traded will be deposited back to CDP treasury to cover the debt.
