Trekking to Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) is one of the most beautiful adventures in Nepal. It takes you deep into the mountains and brings you face to face with the mighty Annapurna I (8,091 m), the 10th highest mountain in the world.

The trek usually starts from Nayapul (1,070 m) or Jhinu Danda (1,780 m) near Pokhara. You walk through green forests, rivers, waterfalls, and traditional Gurung villages. The trail is full of nature and culture.

The highest point of the trek is Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m. Before reaching ABC, you stay at Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m). It offers amazing views of Machhapuchhre (6,993 m), also known as Fishtail Mountain.
At Annapurna Base Camp, you are surrounded by giant peaks like:
